She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Serritella; her daughter Marie Comella (late Vincent); her parents, Anthony Taglia and Charlotte "Lotti" Taglia; her siblings, Anthony Taglia (late Barbara), Francis Taglia (late Ann), Della Valentino (late Ralph), Rita Seno (late John) and Marie Martirano (late Frank); and her brother-in-law Milton Serritella (late Marie).
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Cianelli (Ezio); her grandchildren, Vincent Comella (Melanie), Giovanni Cianelli (Lauren), Christina Abate (Carmelo), Giancarlo Cianelli (Katherine) and Angelina Comella; her great grandchildren, Giovanna Cianelli, Valentina Comella and Leonardo Abate; her siblings, Daniel Taglia (late Patricia) and Charlene Taglia; and her brother-in-law Robert Serritella (Patricia).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary of Celle Catholic Church (1428 Wesley Ave, Berwyn, IL 60402). An entombment was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
