He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Clara "Jean"; his children, Chris (Monique), Chuck Jr. (Jody) and Bill (Natalie); his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Margaret Jean; and his brother James (late Lucille).

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home (10501 W Cermak Rd, Westchester, IL 60154). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the St. Domitilla Church (4940 Washington St, Hillside, IL 60162).
