He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Petcher, and Mildred Ione Petcher, Sr. (Roach); his brothers, Mike Petcher, Harry Petcher and John Petcher Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Seaton, Bill Hahnenkamp and Millie Petcher.

He is survived by: his children, Shelley McCroan, Christopher Zupanci, Michelle Williams and Erica Petcher; his sisters, Sharon Seaton, Jane Hahnenkamp and Susan Hudelson (Gary); and his sister-in-law Hazel Petcher. He is also survived by grandchildren & great grandchildren.
