He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Lentz, and Viola May Lentz, Sr. (Adamson); his wife Nellie Mae Lentz; his son Larry Lentz; and his siblings, William W. Lentz, Jr., Rhonda Durbin and Floyd "Butch" Lentz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Ernest (Billy) of Springfield, IL and Debbie Dugan (Dwane) of Harvel, IL; and his brother Charles E. Lentz of Hillsboro, IL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
