With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Novella Ruth Payne of Hillsboro, Illinois, born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, who passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Caulk and Virginia Caulk (Truax); and her siblings, Carla Vandemark and Lloyd "Butch" Caulk. She is survived by: her husband Walter Payne; her children, Ronald Payne (Debbie), Susan Arnold (James), Michelle Gardner (Van), Michael Payne (Stacy), Elizabeth Knepper (Steven) and Ramsey Payne; and her siblings, Ginni Weiser (Charlie), Rob Caulk (Anna), Kelly Caulk (Carla), Scott Caulk and Tommy Caulk. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home (624 S Main St, Hillsboro, IL 62049). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center's Activity Fund.
