She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Baran and Ann Marie Baran (Brown); her sons, Michael T. Short and David Short; and her stepchildren, Wendy Norene and David Norene.
She is survived by: her former spouse Thomas Short; her granddaughter Christina Short of Connecticut; and her brother Hillsboro Mayor (William "Bill" Baran).
