He is survived by: his children, Brandon Petty of Nokomis, IL and Shelly Petty of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Maddyson Petty, Samantha Koonce and Dayton Koonce; and his siblings, Jerry Petty (Sue), Rod Petty (Sue), Dennis Petty (Jan Richardson), Randy Petty (Penny), J. P. Petty (Mary) and Chris Petty.
