He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brinkman and Rose Brinkman (Hirsch). He is survived by: his wife Helen Brinkman (Bowman); his sons, Neil Brinkman (Karla) and Mark Brinkman (Linda); his grandchildren, Savannah Brinkman, Chloe Brinkman and Andrew Brinkman (Katelyn); his stepgrandchildren, Kayla Throne, Casey Throne, Josh Pool and Jessie Pool; and his sister Janet Matkins (Denny).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home (624 S Main St, Hillsboro, IL 62049). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or Wares Grove Veteran Memorial.
