He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bailie and Geneva Bailie (Vesperman); his son John; and his siblings, Clayton, Ethel and Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Ammie Beth (Vaught); his sons, Joel Ray (LaDonna), Jerome Clark (Sabrina), Raymond Charles of Madisonville, Kentucky, Phillip Charles of Hillsboro, Illinois and Michael Lynn (Deanna); his grandchildren, John Austin of Marshall, Illinois, Matthew (Morgan) of Versailles, Kentucky, Philip, Elijah of Cadillac, Michigan, Konner Kora of Ovid, Michigan, David, Mason, Aiden of Friend, Nebraska, Stephanie of Owensboro, Kentucky, Aislinn (Brandon McDole) of Madison, Wisconsin, Emma of Poughkeepsie and Quin Kora of Ovid, Michigan.; his great grandchildren, Liam, Landon and Lily; and his sister Linda Folden (Robert) of Greenville, Texas.. He is also survived by five sons, 12 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hough & Sons Funeral Home (1119 School St, Hillsboro, IL 62049). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
