She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Opal Blanch Banning Ring; her spouse Glenn Leroy Barnes; her brother Charles Ring; her daughter-in-law Liz Barnes; and her granddaughter Teresa Slightom.
She is survived by: her children, John Barnes of Reading, MA and Glenda Williams (Rick) of Springfield, IL; her grandchildren, Rebecca (Slightom) and Heacox (Brad) of Bloomington, IL; her son Larry Slightom Jr. (Gene) of Butler, IL; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Shannah Slightom and Jesse Baugh; and her great great grandchildren, Tinley Rae Slightom and Maeva Shea Jett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Butler Union Church in Butler, IL.
