She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Lyle and Linda Cole. She is survived by: her parents, Lyle Cole, Jr. of Hillsboro, IL and Eva King (Halleman) of Irving, IL; her friend Bradley Cooper; her husband Jamie Melton; her son Eliot Melton of Carlyle, IL; her siblings, Lyle "Tony" Cole of Coffeen, IL and Danielle Elmore (Cole) of Coffeen, IL; her grandmother Janet Halleman; and her aunts, Robin Halleman, Paula Chumley, Delva Gifford and Tanya Hubbard.

Memorials may be given to the family for Eliot Melton's Educational Fund.
