She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Calvin and Clancie Launa Brashears (Miner); her husband Donald Harold Sweet; her granddaughter Katie O'Hara Sweet; her son-in-law Kevin Corazza; her brother Bill Brashears; and her siblings-in-law, Marge Brashears and Jess Peterson.

She is survived by: her children, Doug Sweet (Teri) of Hillsboro, IL, Dan Sweet (Michelle) of Hillsboro, IL and Donna "Denise" Sweet Corazza of Hillsboro, IL; her granddaughter Liz Sweet-Kelley (Ian); her children, Natalie Bergman, Nathan Sweet (Allie), Meghan Bertolino, Ben Sweet (Sarah), Zach Sweet (Nancy), Ethan Sweet (Denise) and Hannah Jurgena (Christopher); and her siblings, Jeanne Peterson of Schererville, IN and Roscoe Brashears (Marty) of Mt. Carmel, IL.. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
