He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Graden and Geneva Louise Graden (Davis); and his brother David Graden. He is survived by: his wife Irene M. Dahler; his sons, Brian Graden of Los Angeles, CA and Jon Graden of New York, NY; his brothers, Gerald Graden of Litchfield, IL and Charles Graden (Marinel) of Nokomis, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Graden of Nokomis, IL and Marion Dahler (Jeanene) of Nokomis, IL..

Due to increasing cases of COVID-19, private services will be held.

Memorials may be given to Hillsboro United Methodist Church, Ohlman United Church of Christ, and Chaddock School for Troubled Children.
