He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar McKinney and Ruth McKinney; his uncles, Earl Powell and Ralph Powell; his aunt Betty Powell St. John; and his great grandchild Eleanora James Main.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Stockdale McKinney; his sisters, Theda Summers (Arnold) of Veedersburg and Charlotte McKinney Pierson (Ron) of Indianapolis; his daughters, Lynda McKinney Coffing (James) of Covington and Karen L. McKinney (Linda) of Indianapolis; and his granddaughters, Sarah Coffing Main (Daniel) of Crawfordsville and Stephanie Coffing of Covington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Sterling Christian Church, Marie Canine Cancer Center, or Southeast Fountain Community Foundation.
