He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Vogel and Hazel Vogel (Micenhiemer); his son Burl Vogel Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Vogel, William Vogel, Mercedes Lessman, Betty Ott and Merle Vogel.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Vogel of Denver, CO and Pearl Mary Moler-Billo (Becky) of Hillsboro, IL; his stepchildren, Melody White (Troy) of Coffeen, IL, Randy Miller (Pat) of Bunker Hill, IL and Mark Miller (Alice) of Lansing, KS; and his sister Bonnie Boston of Hillsboro, IL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
