It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Stoecker of Hillsboro, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Finis "Slim" Thomas Hughes and Francis Rivers Gahagen Hughes; her husband Herbert A. Stoecker; and her great grandchild Balin Robbins. She is survived by: her children, Linda Stretch (John) of Hillsboro, IL, Thomas Stoecker (Sandra) of Carlinville, IL and Gail Marie Phillips (Rice) of Hillsboro, IL; and her grandchildren, Chris Holman, Stacie Streator (Clayton), Daniel Robbins (Erica), Amanda Robbins, Aaron Stoecker, Brent Stoecker (Karla), Mark Thompson (Renae), Michelle Blankenship (Chuck), Michael Thompson (Amanda) and Michael Phillips. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
