She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Herman and Henrietta Marie Kuhl (Hermeling); her siblings, Annette Kuhl-Middleton, Alice Campbell, LeRoy Kuhl and George "Bud" Kuhl; and her grandson Mitchell Abbott.
She is survived by: her husband Charles J. Spaeth; her children, Joyce A. Spaeth of New Baden, David Spaeth (Donna Abbott) of Hillsboro, Ronald Spaeth (Sheila) of Hillsboro and Judy Spaeth of Panama, Illinois; her grandchildren, Charles Spaeth (Kristin) and Logan Spaeth (Haylee); her great grandchildren, Evelyn and Chloe Spaeth; and her siblings, Ruthann Daiber (Charlie), Herman "Red" Kuhl (Renee), Aggie Huston (Gary), Mary Mullen, Mike, David Kuhl (Bev), Urban Kuhl and Eddie Kuhl (Betty).
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (8965 IL-160, New Baden, IL 62265).
