With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Lewis Massey of Hillsboro, Illinois, born in Highland, Illinois, who passed away on September 18, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Massey and Iva Massey (Zeller); his wife Myrtle Marie Kendall; his sister Cleda Morrow; and his stepdaughter Tammy Cressy (Marty Cressy).
He is survived by: his children, Mark Massey (Danielle) of Staunton, Illinois, Shari Adair (Tim) of Highland and Ruth Reincke (Roger) of Irving, Illinois; his stepsons, Ron Seabaugh (Diane) of Broomfield and Jeff Seabaugh of Walshville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Mark Massey (Robyn) of Glen Carbon, Erin Sutton (Jared) of Godfrey, Megan West (Jacob) of Gillespie, Brandon Adair (Danielle) of Edwardsville, Brittani Robertson (Tyler) of Pekin, Rachel Crouse of Hillsdale, Dale Reincke (Alyssa) of Greensburg and Heather Greenwood (Dustin) of Hillsboro, Illinois; and his siblings, Harold Massey of Bunker Hill and Stella Kirk of Fairborn, Ohio. He is also survived by step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
