He is survived by: his children, Linda, Kristin Mahoney (Tom) and Richard; his grandchildren, Jonathan Raschke (Taylor), Sam Mahoney, Ryan Mahoney, Kathryn Lockard and Lucas Grobart; his great grandchildren, Vena, Norah and Silas Raschke; his sister Janet DeRosa; and his niece Lisa Marmora.
