We bid farewell to Eileen Hemmeter of Highwood, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2025 at the age of 98. Eileen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Mussatto and Albina Mussatto (Enama); her brothers, John and Harry; her sisters-in-law, Delores (Martini) and Martha (Sutton); her sisters, Katherine Kelly, Betty Rosalini, Evelyn Eul, Josephine Galasini, Dee Vanderpal and Leonora Cervac; her husband Ferdinand Hemmeter; her close friend Judge Harvey Odenbrett; her daughter Victoria Ludwigson (Howard); and her pets, Jackie (Beagle), Tipper and Sam.
She is survived by: her close friends, Carol Ugolini, Angela Crovetti, Teta Minuzzo and Lisa Cervac; her daughter Valerie Strege (John); her grandchildren, Randy Czaplewski, Rebecca Lechner (Matthew), Mark Ludwigson, Cretia Radman (Robert), Ian Strege, Amy Lonergan (David), Layla Czaplewski, Thomas Czaplewski, Theodore Lechner, Henry Lechner, Ivy Ludwigson, Kai Ludwigson, Dylan Radman and Calisi Casper; her nieces, Michele Mussatto (Michael Romcoe), Renee Mussatto and Lisa Mussatto Guess (Paul); her nephew Thomas Mark Mussatto; and her great-nephews, Dylan Guess and Owen Mussatto Guess.
