Clifford Davis Seymon Obituary
Clifford was born on June 17, 1927 in Harrisburg, IL. He was the son of William and Ida Mae (Chavis) Davis. He was educated in Harrisburg, IL. Clifford was an industrious man as he worked as a young boy hunting for food, water boy on the railroad, working in various manufacturing settings and retiring as a high rise construction painter where he painted bridges, water towers, and power plants in and around Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin.
He belonged to the local painters union, loved cars and was very proud of his family. He is survived by his sons; Clifford Jr. (Mandy) of Denver, Colorado, Larry (Tina) of San Antonio, Texas, Eric Davis, and Melvin Davis. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, his beloved daughter Diane Joyce Davis, two brothers (William and Sidney) and four sisters (Beatrice, Thelma, Vida, and Ruby).
He has countless other relatives, loved ones, and friends. Special thanks to niece Debra Smith for her loving care in his final days, Aurora Hospice, and friends of the Seymon family. Visitation Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood, Illinois.
Rev. Robert Richards, officiating. Private interment will be at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago.
