With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles W. Lens of Highwood, Illinois, born in Marshall, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lens and Gertrude Lens; and his sisters, Frances McNeely (Rich), Barbara Masgia (John) and Donna Picchietti (Pelligrino).
He is survived by: his wife Loretta "Lolly" Lens; his children, Charles J. (JoAnn), Timothy (Jamie) and Thomas (Mary); his grandchildren, Zachary, Michela, Tyler, Rutger, Charlie and Max; and his siblings, Dolores Madison (Vince), John Lens (Elizabeth) and Lorraine Anderson (late Roland).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (Christ Our Hope Parish) (770 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christ Our Hope Parish, Highland Park, IL.
