It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Kenneth Koopmann of Highwood, Illinois, born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Keith Andrew. He is survived by: his close friends, Bill and Bob; his parents, Bob Koopmann and Karen Koopmann of Highwood; his siblings, Robert Koopmann of Highland Park and Michelle Harding (late Scott) of Pensacola, Florida.; his nieces and nephews, Melissa, Stephanie, Christina and Kai; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dominic Joseph, Jackson Keith, Tripp Owen, Winter Lou, Lucie Ramona, Mia Grace and Emmylou Kaye; and his friend Shelley Resnick of Gurnee.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Christ Church (100 N Waukegan Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Saint Mary Cemetery.
