William F. Bust Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2025, at the age of 86, William F. Bust of Highland, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bust and Barbara Bust; and his cousin Margie L. Bust. He is survived by: his significant other Jerry L. Minchey of Highland, IL; his brother Robert A. Bust (Glenn Hendricks) of Ardmore, OK; and his cousins, Joe Bust of Potosi, MO and Larry Cristman (Debbi) of Rice, MN..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (1412 9th St, Highland, IL 62249). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or HSHS Hospice.
