He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Miles and Bernice Miles; his brother Ulysses Miles; and his niece Tamie Miles. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Miles of Highland, IL; his children, Sandy Nissen (Pete) of Highland, IL, Rick Miles (Shari), Santa and Tony Miles (Lora) of Highland, IL; his grandchildren, Tyler Miles, Chase Miles and Maci Miles; his brother Glen Miles (Elizabeth); his niece Rhonda Brendel; and his nephews, Kurt Gruner and Karl Gruner.

Memorial donations may be made to Burgess Cemetery Association or Madison Co. Humane Society.
