He was predeceased by: his parents, August Haar and Lucy Haar; his wife Sharon Haar; his siblings, Joe Haar, Severin Haar, Cleo McKee and Irene Sowul; his parents-in-law, Estelle Seals and Louis Koch; and his stepmother Jean Koch.
He is survived by: his son Matthew Haar of Highland, IL; his sisters, Ruth Ann Kirby (Bill) and JoAnn Shalhoub; his siblings-in-law, Louise Haar and Mel Koch; and his close friend Willie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
