We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025, at the age of 86, Sharon L. Bridgewater of Highland, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Konopka and Alice Konopka; her husband George Bridgewater; and her son Scott Allen Bridgewater. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Wellen (Mark) of Highland, IL and Kristen Switzer (Thomas) of Highland, IL; her grandchildren, Michael Wellen, Ashley Singler (Cameron), Jessica Wilson, Brooke Wilson, Abbie Hendricks (Buster) and Chelsie Voss (Luke); her great grandchildren, Cameron Hendricks, Maddex Hendricks, Axten Hendricks, Olivia Voss and Lainie Voss; her sister Jolene Kocis (Phil) of Estero, FL; her brother-in-law Charles Bridgewater (Judy) of Dover, OH; and her nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Kocis (Natalie), Michael Kocis, Terri Argent (Bob) and Marsha Schrock (Guy).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (801 Washington St, Highland, IL 62249). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to First Congregational Church in Highland, IL.
