He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Moss and Dorothy Moss; his wife Leona Moss; his siblings, Darlene Benten, Darwin Moss, Wayne Moss and Larry Moss; and his aunt Evelyn Schwyzer.

He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Moss of Highland, IL; his granddaughters, Alexandrea Rae Hopson (Brion) and Victoria Camille Luitjohan (Cameron); his great grandchildren, Belladonna Marie Hopson and Felix Gregory Luitjohan; and his sisters, Delores Halbe and Carol Brauer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Highland Food Pantry.
