He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kampwerth and Clara Kampwerth of St. Rose; his granddaughter Olivia Schultz; and his siblings, Alfred, Andrew, Bruno, Jerome, Gerald, John, Ralph Kampwerth, Mary Haar and Geraldine Kampwerth.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Kampwerth; his children, Cathy Hallemann (Russ), Mike Kampwerth (Bridgette), Sharon Renken (Dale), Debbie Schultz (Steve) and Carol Seiler (Tim); his grandchildren, Bryanna Cloninger (Ross), Dillon Hallemann (Andi), Hayley Taylor, Mikayla Pillow (Scott), Lexi Taylor, Megan Hallemann, Claire Schultz, Kirsten Taylor, Abby Schultz, Alex Schultz, Larissa Taylor, Reygan Taylor and Liam Seiler; his great grandchildren, Elsie and Lindy; his friends, Courtney Ethridge, Travis Eilers and Tom Voss; his siblings, James Kampwerth (Dorothy) and Marietta Winkeler; and his sisters-in-law, Anna Jean Kampwerth, Mary Kampwerth, Rita Sullivan (Jim) and Betty Harder.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home - Highland (1501 9th St, Highland, IL 62249). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Paul Catholic Church (1411 Main St, Highland, IL 62249).
