Robert J. Schwarz Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert J. Schwarz Sr. (Highland, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Bloemker and Inez Bloemker of Highland; his grandparents, Jason, Megan Schwarz (Timmermann) of John, Jennifer (Wellen), Kyle Schwarz of Rob, Barb (Porter), Mollie Kugler (Townsend), Nathan Townsend of Pat, Mark Townsend and Bob; his brother Paul; his sisters-in-law, Gwen and Peggy Schwarz; his nephew Steve Schwarz; and his niece Barb Schwarz.
He is survived by: his brothers, Bill, Grantfork and Len; his friend Bishop Cardinal George; his great grandchildren, Harleigh, Braelynn Wellen, Eli, Addy Timmermann, Griffin, Eleanor Kugler, Max Townsend, Jake, Drew, Drake, Lila and Charlie Schwarz; his daughter-in-law Lisa; his grandsons, Jason and Nathan; his siblings-in-law, Darvin Bloemker (Delores), Marge (Paul), Carol (Bill) and Jean Schwarz (Len); and his caregiver Jane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
His generosity will be remembered by the donation of his brain to the Parkinson's Disease Association via Washington University in St. Louis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his beloved St. Paul's Parish in Highland, IL.
