Peggy L. Black Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2023, at the age of 72, Peggy L. Black of Highland, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Peck and Edna Peck; and her husband William "Bill" Black. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Poe (Bill) of Highland, IL, Robin Nelson (Larry Porschen) of Fairview Heights, IL and William "Bill" Black (Stacie) of Highland, IL; her grandchildren, Chase Poe, Mia Poe, Gabby Nelson (Travis Smith), Hunter Nelson and Haley Black; her brothers, Billy Michael Peck (Cindy) and Jeffrey Peck (Patty); and her close friend Ernestine "Sis" Briley. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Partners for Pets or to Swim Across America (Benefiting the Siteman Cancer Research Center).
