She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Thurnau and Mary "Mayme" Thurnau; her husband Delmar H. Nungesser; her brother Harold Thurnau; her sister-in-law Laurine Thurnau; her sister Lyla Gerstenecker; her brother-in-law Dale Gerstenecker; her sister Jeanette Taylor; her brothers-in-law, Louis Taylor and Henry Pirok; her siblings, Clifford Thurnau and Joan Willaredt; and her sister-in-law Betty Thurnau.
She is survived by: her children, Carol J. Schwend (Dave) and Kent L. Nungesser (Julie); her grandchildren, Mindi J. Kunz (Nik), Chris E. Schwend (Danni) and Parker A. Nungesser (Abby Burroughs); her great grandchildren, Macie J. Kunz and Mabrie O. Kunz; her siblings, Warren V. Thurnau, Robert Thurnau (Dottie) and Eleanor Pirok; and her brother-in-law George Willaredt of Edwardsville, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
