With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha D. Lester of Highland, Illinois, born in Salisbury, Missouri, who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Raphael and Helen Berniece Nagel; her husband Michael Leo Lester; and her daughter Lisa Carmel O'Brien. She is survived by: her children, Julie M. Lester of Columbia, MO, Monica Dawn Klostermann (Brian J.) of Highland, IL and Michael David Lester of Olathe, KS; her grandchildren, Jessica Nichole Tucci (Robert), Catlin Helena Shoutta (Jon), Brendan Michael O'Brien (Grace), Tyler Joseph Klostermann (Jessica), Trevor Michael Klostermann (Holly), Allison Dean Steward (Jason), Jackson Gray Myers, Emily Jane Lester, Anna Claire Lester and Patrick Michael Lester; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Xavier Tucci, Paris Saunders, Brayden Joseph Klostermann, Charlotte Elise Klostermann, Henry Lester Shoutta and Macy Jo Klostermann; and her brothers, James W. Nagel (Judy) and Larry Nagel. She is also survived by extended family and many close friends.
