Beverly Brookhart wrote a sympathy message

“Marsha, I am heartbroken at losing you. I will miss our long telephone conversations in which we covered mutual interests and our concerns for the position of the world today. My sister was a strong- willed woman, with a conscience to see justice done in all of her endeavors. It was sad to watch her body failing her and was difficult for her to ask for help . She had a strong faith in God .and is at peace in His arms as she enters Heaven and re-unites with our family and friends .Godspeed. Sis.”

Sue Bracken-Schuster wrote a sympathy message

“Sorry for your loss, I’ve had the pleasure to recently read what all your mom actually did. Very impressive, she was a very smart woman and I read all the newspaper articles from the late 80s and early 90s of the work she did for women’s rights. I’m sure your proud as you should be. My sincere condolences to you and your family.”

Mike Brady wrote a sympathy message

“My mother did so much for womans rights, womans worker rights, minorities rights, and even changed laws that would make men responsible to pay child support. She did it in part for herself, and in part so no one else would have to. She fought the terminal railroad for job equality, she fought monsanto chemical company for equal pay and workers safety. She was a firey old Jewish woman who would take on anything she believed in. She was not afraid of the KKK so she advertised that she believed in them. She pretty much dared the KKK to step foot in her property. Sadly her 1st amendment rights where taken away be a small group of uninformed, purely judgemental, people with the ill intentions, who were to afraid to just ask her to take the sign down or why she had it up. If only the women who marched that day could have only done a tenth for Marsha of what she had done for them. Stop being lemmings and think for yourself. That's what she would tell you. I'll miss your daily phone calls mom.”
