She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schmidt and Margaret Schmidt; her husband Jerry Steiner; her son-in-law Rich Schwend; and her aunt Rose McNulty.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Poettker (Bernie) of Aviston, IL, Barb Estes (Bobby) and Amy Rinderer (Boyd); her grandchildren, Jennifer Pearson (Rob), Daniel Hobson (Jordin), Amber Lake (Will Connolly), Kara Buck (Josh), Justin Estes (Brittnee), Jordan Estes, Marshall Rinderer (Mallory), Camilia Schawel (Brandon), Matt, Molly Rinderer, Jase and Kennett; and her great grandchildren, Dalen, Makensie, Nathan, Mayson, Sydney, Rosalyn, Willow, Reece, Kyler, Brielle, Charlotte and Rosalie. She is also survived by daughters and grandchildren.
