She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Virgie McCumber; her husband Earl F. "Bud" Kik; her children, Lynn E. Kik (Teresa), Patrick C. Kik and Stephanie R. Cummings (Donald); her grandchildren, Mason Bayles of Bellingham, WA, Rebekah Horton (CJ) of New Baden, IL, Jacob Cummings of Highland, IL and David Cummings; her great grandchild Kyle Horton of New Baden, IL.; her father Harvey Lynn McCumber; and her daughter Edna P. Kik.
