It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret M. Jakel of Highland, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kutz and Geraldine Kutz; her brothers, John Kutz and Danny Kutz; her nephews, Brennan Kutz, Jason Kutz and Kyle Kutz; and her sister-in-law Toby Kutz.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Jakel of Highland, IL; her children, Jennifer Jakel (Amy Garcia) of Glen Carbon, IL, Tiffany Jakel (Mike Martin) and Blake Jakel of Scottdale, AZ; her siblings, Melanie Steiner (Duane), Barbara Kutz, William J. Kutz (Sheila), David C. Kutz, Mary S. Kutz, Ann M. "Dolly" Thornton (Steve), Joseph M. Kutz (Samantha), Elizabeth D. Kutz and Linda Wiese (Gary Werner); her sister-in-law Diane Kutz; and her grandsons, Jackson and William Jakel.
