She is survived by: her children, John Hanks of Edwardsville, IL and Gail Shimer of Highland, IL; her daughter-in-law Maureen Hanks of Manito, IL; her grandchildren, Matt Hanks (Beth), Maggie Charlton (Josh), Jessie Mischler (Matt), Cody Shimer (Amber), Ethan Shimer (Jannah Stone), Jared Shimer (Breanna), Samantha Hanks and Jake Hanks (Sammi); her great grandchildren, Grace, Luke, Lucy, Emma, Jane, Jude, Jack, Charlie, Madeline, Jamieson, Lincoln, Hollynn, Stevie Lynn, Hayden and Madelyn; and her sisters-in-law, Margie Capelle of Highland, IL, Sue Hanks of Troy, IL and Nancy Capelle of Troy, IL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
