She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hess and Theresa Hess; her husband Bob Marti; her siblings, Esther Marie Reddinger (Dave), Louis William Hess (Jeanette), Marcella Margaret Widlund (Robert), Lawrence Mathias "Larry" Hess (MaryAnn), Anthony Francis "Red" Hess (Laura) and Paul August Hess (Sally); and her siblings-in-law, Earl Marti (Irma), Richard Marti (Dorothy), Roy Marti and Pearl Ammann (Elmer).
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Ann Hawkes, Teresa Lynn "Terri" Hoffmann (Thomas) and Sandra Kay "Sandy" Poor; her grandchildren, Melanie Christine Georges (David), Michelle Renee Hawkes, Joseph Nathan Hawkes, Nicholaus Robert Hoffmann (Hannah), Natalie Teresa Bergkoetter (Jason), Andrea Lynn Garson (Joe), Vanessa Julia Hoffmann and Benjamin Robert Poor; her great grandchildren, Hawk, Vas, Falen, Olivia, Cole, Vaeden, Toby, Samantha, Lillian, Emilee, Macey, Trenton, Lukas, Leah and Logan; her siblings, Dorothy Ann Tanner (John) and Alvin John Hess (Joann); and her siblings-in-law, Joseph "Joe" Marti (Carol Ann), Bernice Remmert (Gene) and Leona Marti. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Alzheimer's Association, St. Paul Capital Campaign, Latzer Memorial Public Library, or in the form of Masses.
