It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorena E. A. Michael (Highland, Illinois), born in Flat Rock, Illinois, who passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Grover and Grace Parker (Burner); and her siblings, Loma Dillie, Edris Thompson, Polly Gibson, Marie Borden, Isabelle Hudson, Norman, Foy, Clebert, Raymond and William Parker.
She is survived by: her husband Robert 'Bob Michael of Highland, IL; her sisters, Marjorie Bolden of Vincennes, IN and Donna Oppenheimer; her sister-in-law Faye Parker of Memphis, TN; her children, Greg Michael (Barbara) and Pam Higgins (Dennis) of Highland, IL; and her grandchildren, Heather Rabinowitz (Richard), Ann Osbom (Perry), Angela O'Gorman (Tim), Jeff Michael (Virginia), Steven Michael (Jennifer) and Katherine Crotty (Brendan). She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19 a private family service will be held at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Rev. Aaron Peternel officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, Fairview Heights, IL.
