She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Thomas and Narrah; her husbands, Manford Foster and Henry Schuerger; her daughter Sandy Gossett; and her siblings, S. T. Carter, Roy Carter, Thelma Moor, Dortha Denham and Earl Carter.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Foster, Donna Keilbach (Tim), Deanna Knapp (Joel), Cynthia Munoz (Fernando) and Jennifer Duff (Michael); and her grandchildren, Rozalynn, Jacob, Aubrey, Lesley, Megan, Matthew, Jarrod, Tracy, Heather, Jessica, Sophia, Courtney, Mikey and Jenna. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
