Leon E. Luber Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon E. Luber of Highland, Illinois, born in Saint Joseph, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olivia Luber (Weidner) and Louis S. Luber; his wife Imogene Buehne (Imy); his stepfather George S. Hoffmann; his siblings, Oliver, Howard, Ralph Luber, Catherine Koelz (John) and Gladys Windsor (Clarence); and his in-laws, Mary Luber, Bernice Luber, Gaye Luber, Alberta Luber, John Koelz, Clarence Windsor, Lucille, Louis Thole, Esther, Ed Thole, Norbert, Regina Buehne, Geraldine Buehne, Eugene Rehkemper and Carol Moss.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jan Nothnagel (Eugene) of Riverside, Kathy Stanfa (Rob) of Puryear, Laurie Wiedner (Clay) and Patti Kohlbrecher (Blake) of Highland; his grandchildren, Sarah Nothnagel, Alex Nothnagel, Lorne Stanfa, Michael Wiedner (Claire), Chris Wiedner, Gunnar Kohlbrecher, Gavin Kohlbrecher and Galen Kohlbrecher; his great grandchild Caroline Wiedner; and his siblings-in-law, Lorene Rehkemper, Betty Buehne and Ron Moss. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
