Lawrence P. Koch Obituary

In loving memory of Lawrence P. Koch of Highland, Illinois, who departed this world on October 28, 2024 at the age of 88. Lawrence P. leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Quinten Koch and Leona Koch; his former wife Betty Koch; his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Koch; his stepsons, Kenny Carpenter, Billy Cunningham and Johnny Cunningham; and his stepgranddaughter Jessica Parsons.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Dianne Funkhouser; his daughter Jean Gall (Koch); his son-in-law Steve "Skip" Gall; his grandchildren, Lauren Dauksch (Jason) and Corey Gall (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Harper Dauksch, Hudson Dauksch, Graham Gall and Gabrielle Gall; his stepgrandsons, Shawn Cunningham, Tristan Cunningham and Zach Cunningham; his stepgreat-granddaughter Ryann Krotz; and his siblings, Barbara Johannes (Don), Keith Koch (Norene), Tom Koch (Lynn) and Lynn Ritchie (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and two special caregivers.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Meridith Funeral Home (1223 Broadway, Highland, IL 62249). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (1411 Main St, Highland, IL 62249).
