It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Nesbit of Highland, Illinois, born in Mulberry Grove, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Nesbit (Jocelyn M. Nesbit); his spouse Jocelyn M. Nesbit; his father Chester Dale Nesbit; his grandchildren, Tiffany Barringer and Jordan Barringer; and his sisters, Mary Ann Phillips and Nancy Gannon.
He is survived by: his children, Elisa "Kim" Wilson (Craig) of Saint Jacob, IL, Robin Lyn Reiss (Don) of Highland, IL and Robert D. Nesbit (Leisa) of Saint Jacob, IL; his grandchildren, Kelly Weary (Curt), Christina Collins (Chris), Jonnie Lyn Kapp (Kyle), Trent Barringer (Bree), Parker Dale Nesbit, Brandon Seger (Angel), Amanda Horstmann (Kyle), Kristen Roethemeier (Tim), James Zelasko and Shawn Barringer; and his brother John Nesbit (Charlotte) of Greenville, IL.. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
