He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Julius Boekhout and Betty Jean Boyle; his siblings, Lynne Phoomsathan (Samon) and Chris Boekhout (Gina); and his children, Matthew Boekhout, Mark Boekhout (Janelle), Holly Mendenhall (Donald) and Jaclyn Badger (Jacob). He was also cherished by grandchildren; four granddaughters and four grandsons.
The recent pandemic allowed virtual, but more frequent and treasured connections for the rest of the family.
