She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Nanney; her parents, Charles and Helen; and her siblings, William Newcomb Ralph Newcomb and Alva Bowen Pearl Luther.
She is survived by: her sons, John Nanney III (Denise), Troy, Alan Nanney (Cona) and Michael Nanney (Rusty) of Pinson, AL; and her grandson Robert Nanney Adam (Caitlin). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
