He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Nagel and Edna Nagel. He is survived by: his wife Doris Schmitt; his children, Geraldine Wessel (Greg) of St. Jacob and Curt Nagel (Jenny) of Collinsville; and his grandchildren, Mike Wessel (Carey), Beverly Bass (Mike), Timothy Nagel, Christopher Nagel (Ashley) and Katelynn Heavilon (Justin). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
