He is survived by: his children, Karen Yager of Chesterfield and George T. Plafcan (Jennifer) of Granite City, Illinois; his grandchildren, Courtney Berger and Timothy L. Plafcan; and his great grandchild Alastair. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
