With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Emerson (Highland, Illinois), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on May 24, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Bergheger and Christine Bergheger (Duever); and her siblings, Louis Bergheger, Leonard Bergheger and Anne Eblen.

She is survived by: her husband William Edward Emerson; her children, Debbie Greeves of Highland, IL, Steven Emerson (Carmen) of Edwardsville, IL, William Emerson of Murphysboro, IL and Karen Barker (Dean) of Brookville, OH.; and her friends, John Barker and Sharon Fink.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to VITAS Hospice.
