It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Hansen Jr. of Highland, Illinois, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Easter and Edward Hansen, Sr.; his former wife Martha Jean; his stepchildren, Michael Gubler and Karen Scott; and his half-siblings, Marian Taylor, Jack Norris, Louis Neil Norris and Richard Eugene Norris.
He is survived by: his son Wayne Hansen (Rose) of St. Jacob; his stepdaughter Kathy Voss (Rick) of Portland, TN; his grandchildren, Matthew Hansen, Erik Hansen, Brendan Hansen (Heather), Scott Eilers (Bonita), Melanie Hittson (Steve), Chad Eilers, Michelle Brummett (Lou), Chad Gubler, Sunny Scott and Jason Scott; and his great grandchildren, Declan Hansen, Katherine Goodman (Nick), Garrett Reeder (Emily), Kylee Eilers, Arika Eilers and Victoria Scott. He is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org) and will be received at the graveside service or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230 who is serving the family.
